Bonus Depreciation for Agricultural Buildings- March 2011
The Tax Relief, Unemployment Insurance Reauthorization and Job Creation Act of 2010 increased the bonus depreciation rate from 50% to 100% for new property "which has a recovery period of 20 years or less" (Internal Revenue Code Sec. 168(k)(A)(I)(i)) that is acquired after September 8, 2010 and placed in service before January 1, 2012.
